RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and production machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions to production.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for facility maintenance.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and validation of new equipment and systems.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate with other departments, including manufacturing, quality control, and engineering, to support production goals and resolve technical issues.
- Document maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and incident reports, to track performance and compliance.
- Participate in training programs to stay current on industry best practices and new technologies relevant to facility maintenance and operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing efficiency enhancements and cost-saving measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented approach to work, with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hours.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
