Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair boilers, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform electrical system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control systems.
- Operate and maintain water purification systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure efficient climate control and air quality.
- Perform regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify and address potential issues before they lead to downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure seamless operation of all facility systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the facility.
- Assist with emergency repairs and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Must have proven experience as a facility mechanic, with specific expertise in boilers, electrical systems, water purification, and HVAC.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
