RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate tests to calibrate equipment
- Coordinate with quality department
- Conduct analog and digital circuit design
- Utilize oscilloscopes, bus decoders, signal generators, etc.
- Cultivate and implement firmware/software source code
- Utilize languages such as Pearl, Python, Assembly, Embedded C, etc.
- Conduct testing, analyze results and present findings to management
- Enhance quality of product through updated software
- Conduct validation testing and analyze findings
- Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing and Support to resolve issues
- Develop custom equipment through vertical integration
- Embed microcontrollers and microprocessors between analog and digital
- Utilize communication interfaces such as I2C, UART, TCP, SPI, Modbus, USC, etc.
- Handle open-loop and closed-loop system controls
- Engage in motor control analysis and synchronization
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Ideal Firmware Engineer will have minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience with I2C, UART, TCP, SPI, Modbus, USC
- Must have experience with analog and digital circuit design
- Experience with open-loop and closed-loop system controls
- Ability to embed microcontrollers and microprocessors
- Familiarity with Pearl, Python, Assembly, Embedded C, etc.
- Experience with HART communications protocol
- Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screen
