The Human Resources Director will lead and improve the HR department, overseeing recruitment, staffing, benefits, compensation, onboarding, employee relations, and development. This role also serves as the EEO and DEI Officer, ensuring compliance and promoting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Human Resources Director will lead and develop the HR team, providing technical advice and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations, including EEO, Affirmative Action, FMLA, and OFCCP.
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and company goals.
- The Human Resources Director will drive employee engagement, relations, and training programs.
- Oversee employee reviews and integrate feedback into development programs.
- Lead recruiting efforts, focusing on talent attraction, retention, and compensation.
- The Human Resources Director will manage employee benefits, working with the Benefits Committee to offer competitive packages.
- Utilize HR technology to enhance efficiency and support company goals.
Qualifications:
- The Human Resources Director must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
- Must have SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certifications.
- Must have 8+ years of HR experience from an Engineering background
- The Human Resources Director must have experience in the construction industry and with EEO/DEI initiatives is strongly preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of HR trends, employment law, compensation, and employee relations.
- The Human Resources Director must have strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
