Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety procedures.
- Complete projects independently or as part of a team, making decisions based on technical documents.
- Read and interpret specifications and blueprints, install and repair conduits, wiring, and fixtures, conduct electronic inspections and tests, and ground electrical systems.
- Service generators, motors, high voltage systems, heavy-duty equipment, and industrial communications systems; oil motors and replace wiring.
- Identify and repair electrical components, work with programmable logic/automation controls, set up and troubleshoot Allen Bradley drives, and utilize RS-logic software.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have High school diploma/GED.
- Must have Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Must have proficiency with electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Must be Familiarity with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects and make decisions independently.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and crawling.
