RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to assist users with the installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
- Must monitor and complete all support and project related tasks and activities.
- Must enter, monitor, and complete all entries in the Support Desk tracking system, which includes stating the issues, listing all troubleshooting steps, providing a resolution, and marking the records as complete.
- Must be able to analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Must monitor security of systems, networks, and enterprise information. facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
- Must develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Must provide end-user support in person and via remote connectivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years of experience as an IT Specialist.
- Must have basic understanding of SQL.
- Must have knowledge with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System)
- Must have hands on experience with networking and hardware.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft product offerings.
