RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process Engineer must be able to perform molding machine startups and correct non-conformance's using scientific molding and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Must install, remove, and troubleshoot simple to complex plastic injection molds using various tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must complete daily cycle checklist to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Must perform set-up of injection molding equipment.
- Must respond to machine alarms.
- Must adjust molds prior to production.
- Must monitor audit and provide guidance to line operators.
- Must be able to provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience as an Injection Molding Engineer.
- Must have 2+ years of experience performing mold setups or similar work using tools and machinery related to plastic injection molding.
- Must have Lift truck and overhead crane certification (company provided).
- Must be RJG Master Molder or equivalent.
- Must have strong hands-on injection molding processing and troubleshooting ability using scientific approach.
