RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct molding machine startups and maintain optimal functionality
- Engage in measures to correct non-conformances via root cause analysis
- Monitor performance of line operators and recommend solutions to issues that arise
- Maintain OSHA standards and adhere to all company procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning injection molds to resolve errors
- Maintain adhere to all safety policies
- Conduct daily cycle checklists to maintain awareness of safety operation
- Set and adjust molds before production begins
- Complete line clearance and react in a timely manner to machine alerts
- Engage in root cause analysis
- Manage maintenance duties relating to all injection molding machines
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ideal Injection Molding Technician will have minimum 2 years’ experience
- Must have experience repairing injection molding equipment
- Lift Truck and Overhead Crane certification desired
- Must have manufacturing environment experience
- Familiarity with robotics and automation systems
- Familiarity with multi-shot molding, material drying, color blending, etc.
- Hands on experience with engineering grade resources
- Experience within a shop setting is a +
- Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Willing to take a drug-screen/undergo a background check
