Job Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to boost inventory accuracy.
- Support or lead waste management initiatives.
- Minimize material obsolescence.
- Enter transactions into the customer's ERP system, such as SAP or others, as needed.
- Conduct material counts following the completion of shop floor orders.
- Confirm component usage, including issues and returns.
- Verify the production of finished goods.
- Create and oversee the cycle counting program.
- Reconcile physical inventory with Syspro and identify the root causes of any discrepancies.
- Execute various material movement transactions in Syspro as necessary.
- Suggest and/or implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- An Associate in related field is preferred.
- 1 year of inventory control experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong communication skills.
