RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee inventory planning, scheduling, and control to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manage physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to schedule part acquisitions and maintain proper inventory levels.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document and control aged, damaged, or obsolete inventory.
- Track and report inventory accuracy metrics to management.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to improve inventory processes.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance inventory efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure solutions are effectively implemented and monitored for ongoing success.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information across all organizational levels.
- Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong planning and organizational skills are an advantage.
- Must be able to pass a forklift certification test and operate a forklift daily.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
