RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The ideal Janitor will provide routine maintenance of equipment and facility and all other assigned areas as needed.
- Will ensure the facility is maintained in a sanitized, orderly, and neat fashion.
- Janitor will collect and dispose of metal scrap left over from machine tools.
- Will use preventative maintenance techniques.
- Oversee safe operation of the facility and other areas as needed.
- Maintain ample amount of lubrication to reservoir levels in all machine tools.
- Will mix and allocate fresh coolant to all machine tools.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School or GED
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance and maintenance repair.
- Knowledge of Oil Mist Extractors, HVAC, Machine tools, and Solvent Cleaning Machines for preventative maintenance.
- The ideal Janitor will have knowledge of troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to operate and perform maintenance on forklift, and scissors lift.
- Be able to use protective wear.
- Understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and the ability to problem solve.
- Must be skilled in plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Can effectively communicate in English.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
