RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Laminations Composite Manager must collaborate with other departments in lamination technical support, training, testing, and processes.
- Must design and be responsible for any new product development.
- Responsible for reviewing lamination schedules, lamination material testing and product selection.
- Must develop and implement standards for fiberglass construction, quality control and conduct process improvement of fiberglass.
- The Laminations Composite Manager must organize and conduct training courses for current staff and new hires.
- Must develop and implement repair solutions for warranty claims related to fiberglass parts that are in the field, dealerships and customer facing.
- Must lead, facilitate and participate in resin infusion projects.
- Conduct and evaluate adhesive testing, weight reduction on both open and close molded parts.
- Responsible for research and development of new processes and materials
- Must perform research and development of new mold building materials and assist in new mold building techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Laminations Composite Manager must hold a degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in composites and composite vessel construction methods.
- Must have experience in developing and overseeing lamination schedules and resin infusion techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- The Laminations Composite Manager must understand and maintain Cruiser's safety and housekeeping standards, quality standards and proper procedures.
- Must be able to work at various plants as needed.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment qualifications.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
- The Laminations Composite Manager must be able to travel at least 30% or overnight.
- Wear the required PPE and work in a dusty environment and be physically fit to bend, climb, kneel as needed.
- Must be a local candidate and a US citizen.
