RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The ideal Machinist will direct the efforts of machinists in the horizontal boring mill, lathe and vertical boring mill.
- Occasional customer interaction will take place.
- Interacting with other planners and foreman.
- Assist machinists as needed with set-ups and monitoring the job progress.
Salary Range: $35.00 to $45.00/HR (DOE)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 7+ years of experience as a Machinist.
- Must have knowledge of machining speeds and feeds.
- The ideal Machinist will have hands on programming and editing skills.
- Proficient with shop math.
- Knowledge of fixturing and set-ups on conventional horizontal boring mills, lathes, VTLs, machining centers, and large CNC machines.
