RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the maintenance department to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production processes.
- Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts, ensuring availability while avoiding excess stock.
- Procure necessary parts and tools while maintaining cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades to boost production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team.
- Supervise routine maintenance and repairs of production machinery, including machines, conveyors, and associated equipment.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues promptly to limit production interruptions.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with lockout/tagout procedures.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and modifications to equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required, technical school preferred.
- 6 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 3 years of experience as a Millwright.
- Experience of electrical and machine experience.
