RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate activities with the Production Manager
- Analyze existing processes and cultivate and implement an industry leading maintenance program
- Directly oversee team of maintenance personnel in daily activities
- Delegate tasks such as preventative and predictive maintenance, equipment installation, etc.
- Maintain optimal functionality of all plant equipment
- Conduct walk-throughs to ensure facility is in good condition
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained
- Communicate with suppliers, negotiate inventory pricing, etc.
- Update and establish a thorough PM program
- Prepare reports to summarize key performance metrics
- Ensure operational expenses are within the department budget
- Utilize and implement lean manufacturing techniques
- Ensure maintenance software is maintained and updated
- Ensure productivity of maintenance personnel
- Conduct performance reviews
- Engage in continuous education/improvements
- Utilize maintenance software to input and maintain records
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ideal Maintenance Manager will have minimum 7 years’ experience
- Must have manufacturing environment experience
- Must have CAD experience
- Leadership experience required
- Familiarity with packaging equipment
- Adept at cultivating PM programs
- Ability to train and mentor maintenance personnel
- Willing to take a drug screen and background check
