RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as interface between Operations and Facility Maintenance to ensure that resources are effectively improving asset utilization, uptime, and throughput.
- Responsible for leading and directing the continuous technical and reliability improvement of the facility, equipment, and systems in support of site operational goals.
- Responsible for functioning as shift mechanic to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and train plant personnel to assist in basic maintenance and PMs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of plant production activities and schedules.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- High School Diploma required, and bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Plant Maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of programming control and automation equipment (PLC, HMI Displays, engine controllers, protective relays, load sharing/synchronizing controllers).
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Experience with SAP preferred.
- Experience with 480vAC/3/60 electrical troubleshooting, mechanical conveyors, rigging of motors, and strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities.
