RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Maintenance Manager must review job orders, schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure a smooth and continuous production operations.
- Must provide training of workers to improve work performance and ensure workers are aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Must review quality, production and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and improve maintenance activities.
- Inspect operating machines and equipment for operational standards and production needs.
- The Maintenance Manager must prepare department budget and monitor expenditure of funds.
- Must be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
- Provide work assignment as needed, provide direction, perform performance appraisals, address complaints etc.
- Must be responsible for direction of contractors in the plant for construction and repair.
- Must coordinate activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Maintenance Manager must hold an associate degree.
- Must have 10 years of experience from a production manufacturing background.
- Must have minimum 7+ years of supervisory experience managing workers, tasks, etc.
- Must have experience working in a time bound production manufacturing environment.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to do overtime or work on weekends as needed for the production needs.
- Must have excellent communication, managerial and interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible in schedule and a local candidate.
