RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all plant activities including coordinating maintenance
- Facilities improvements to processes using lean techniques
- Uncover maintenance issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Supervise maintenance personnel and review maintenance plans
- Monitor KPI’s and conduct performance reviews
- Adhere to all safety regulations
- Supervise and schedule contractors
- Meet with vendors and obtain best pricing
- Research and obtain competitive pricing for needed parts
- Ensure inventory levels are adequate
- Coordinate and analyze data with maintenance planner
- Recruit, train and onboard new maintenance personnel
- Delegate performance bonuses based on merit
- Ensure plant is operating at peak efficiency
- Fill in for Plant Manager if they are ever out
- Prepare and deliver annual maintenance budget
- Meet with union representatives
- Ensure safety policies are updated and maintained
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ideal Maintenance Manager will have minimum 5 years’ experience
- Must have experience with industrial equipment such as compressors, electric motors, fabrication, roller mills, etc.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with pipe fitting, tool and die making, millwright, etc.
- Familiarity with CMMS software
- Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screen
