RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the plant equipment and facilities
- Ability to work on machines and oversee teams
- Oversees maintenance repairs and scheduling of testing equipment and fixes
- Responsible for part inventory, purchasing materials, finding and assigning resources, and scheduling work in the facility
- Oversees the staff and is responsible for onboarding and continuous training
- Understands and manages maintenance and capital projects utilizing outside vendors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance manager
- 10+ years of experience in Maintenance on equipment
- 5+ years of managerial experience required
- Experience in a union environment
- Experience with ceramics or refractories preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
