RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Interpret and apply technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Perform tasks across multiple machine trades, including electrical, mechanical, or machining work.
- Carry out regular equipment maintenance and repair activities.
- Support the installation of new machinery.
- Regularly inspect manufacturing equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Install new or replacement parts in accordance with specifications and safety protocols.
- Update and manage data in a computerized system.
- Assist the Maintenance Department with general building upkeep.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and training.
- Vocational or technical training is preferred.
- Up to 2 years of related maintenance experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of cGMP procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines, and other regulatory standards.
- Experience in calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Competence in managing computer database programs.
