Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergencies or equipment failures and carry out quality assurance.
- Liaise with outside vendors and contractors to facilitate projects (e.g., HVAC servicing, electrical, construction, landscape, etc.).
- Keep the facility and its equipment operating at acceptable levels of precision, safety, and cleanliness.
- Participate actively in any lean initiatives concerning maintenance.
- Comply with the work instructions, policies, and procedures of ISO 9001.
- Any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 5+ years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of precision measuring devices and conventional equipment
- Ability to perform basic math and ability to read blueprints.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- The capacity to decipher a wide range of instructions that are given orally, in writing, via diagrams, or via schedules.
- Proficiency with electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general building maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and structural work.
