Responsibilities:
- Maintenance mechanic will meet operational standards by contributing maintenance information.
- Knowledge of working calibration machines and food drums.
- Oversee the installation, troubleshooting on plc equipment.
- Will inspect, repair, and maintain the electrical, mechanical, and other related systems.
- Implementing production, productivity, quality, and resolving problems.
- Be knowledgeable of lockout tagout, OSHA, FDA, AND GMP requirements as they pertain to maintenance activities at a food processing facility.
- Upgrade new and existing area with new technology or equipment.
- Assist in treatments of the water system.
- Oversee hourly personnel.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Trade school or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Food & beverage experience is a must
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission and conveyors
- 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Able to lift to 50 pounds and heavy lifting at times with assistance
- 480-volt experience is desired
- Can climb ladders, crawl, kneel, crouching, and stand for long periods or times
- Must be available any time of day/night for emergencies
- Can come with your own hand tools
