Responsibilities:
- Implementing cost effective maintenance to keep the facility operational
- Installs, troubleshoot plc equipment, inspects, repairs, and maintains the electrical, mechanical, and other related systems.
- Operate the parts system to record and track parts usage and repair/fabrication time.
- Be knowledgeable of lockout tagout, OSHA, FDA, AND GMP requirements as they pertain to maintenance activities at a food processing facility
- Transform pieces of equipment to correct production problems or enhance production equipment capabilities.
Requirements:
- High School, Trade School, or military training
- Must haven knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission and conveyors
- Minimum of 3-5 years
- Must be able to lift 50lbs at times and physical activity is required at times.
- PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Be on call for support on an as needed basis.
- Food experience is preferred
