Overview: The Maintenance Planner ensures efficient maintenance operations by coordinating schedules, managing parts and tools, and overseeing repair activities. Responsibilities include planning maintenance tasks, managing SAP work orders, and collaborating with departments to support operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Maintenance Planner must collaborate with departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
- Monitor and investigate maintenance requests; plan and oversee repairs.
- Develop and manage work schedules and execution plans for equipment outages.
- The Maintenance Planner must identify and procure necessary parts, tools, and manpower for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure accurate recording of labor, materials, and procedural changes, close work orders promptly.
- Create SOPs for major and recurring repairs.
- Manage SAP work orders and preventative maintenance routines.
- The Maintenance Planner must work with procurement to control inventory and manage parts.
- Maintain and update technical records, including BOMs and maintenance history.
- Assist in preparing the annual maintenance budget and facilitate planning meetings.
- Oversee communication of maintenance plans and support major shutdowns.
- The Maintenance Planner must supervise contractors and maintenance teams as needed.
- Participate in on-call schedule and emergency repairs.
- Ensure continuous improvement goals are tracked in the Enablon system.
Requirements:
- The Maintenance Planner must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cement manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical background with planning experience.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar platforms.
- The Maintenance Planner must have knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance.
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
