RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure equipment is operational
- Troubleshoot and assist in repairing malfunctioning equipment
- Assign workload and distribute repairs amongst technicians
- Work on electrical controls alongside technicians
- Ensure inventory levels are adequate
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Ensure lean manufacturing such as 5S is implemented and maintained
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Recruit, train and onboard new hires
- Optimize safety and productivity throughout the facility
- Oversee and mentor 5 Maintenance Technicians
- Coordinate efforts with Operations Supervisor
- Ensure production goals are met
- Conduct yearly performance reviews
- Maintain knowledge of PLC’s and drives
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required
- Ideal Maintenance Supervisor will have minimum 4 years’ experience
- Must have leadership experience
- Union workforce experience desired
- Experience with electrical controls
- Must have experience with industrial equipment
- Familiarity with ABB robots
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Willing to take a drug screen and background check
