Responsibilities:
- Implementing cost effective maintenance to keep the facility operational
- Coordinates staff and team to install, troubleshoot plc equipment, inspects, repairs, and maintains the electrical, mechanical, and other related systems.
- Works with different departments to ensure the facility is operational.
- Be knowledgeable of lockout tagout, OSHA, FDA, AND GMP requirements as they pertain to maintenance activities at a food processing facility
- Schedule maintenance and installation of equipment to continuously improve operations
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree, High School, Trade School, or military training
- Must haven knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission and conveyors
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs at times and physical activity is required at times.
- PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Be on call for support on an as needed basis.
- Food experience is preferred
