RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Maintenance Supervisor will advise the Plant Engineer on all operation efficiency issues.
- Inspect equipment to ensure everything is running properly and safely on a daily basis.
- Create and inspect mechanics PM worksheets.
- Ensure spare parts inventory levels are maintained for the facility.
- Ensure the Preventative Maintenance schedule stays updated and maintained.
- Communicate with management to address future or current needs.
- Prepare reports and attend meetings as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance personnel comply with company safety procedures and rules.
- Maintain and upkeep files required federal, state and local government bodies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experienced with CAMS (Computer Assisted Maintenance System).
- Must have at least 3 years of food manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Possess a strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and utilize technical manuals.
- Industrial 3 phase experience.
- Experience in working with packaging equipment, mixers, proofers, tunnel & conveyorized ovens as well as other baking environment equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s.
- Must be familiar with sensors, solenoids, control panels, relays, frequency drives, limit switches and circuit breakers up to 480 volt.
- Advanced working knowledge with pneumatics, hydraulics and various mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging/production equipment.
- Ability to use shop equipment (stick welding, mill, drill press, lathe)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
