RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and exercise knowledge of automation, machine controls, servo systems, etc.
- Troubleshoot machine controls with emphasis on
- Implement measure to reduce down time
- Analyze equipment & processes for improvement of safety,
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Improve cycle time and machine reliability
- Conduct electrical training classes for production and maintenance staff
- Write and design maintain controls technical documents
- Research new technologies
- Help to improve existing ASI processes
- Perform troubleshooting on computer hardware
- Modify PLC programs when needed
- Ensure proper documentation of electrical controls & programs are available &
- Maintained updated documentation for production equipment
- Assist in equipment design
- Assist in training maintenance personnel on electrical controls
- Work with various machine automation componentsÂ
- Coordinate equipment improvements with OEM’s
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ideal Maintenance Technician will have minimum 3 years’ experience
- Must have experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Must have experience with PLC’s and automated machine controls
- Must have weekend availability as needed
- Willing to undergo background check and drug screen
