RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that maintenance services are carried out on all production equipment
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Implement measure to improve employee safety
- Encourage optimization of production quality
- Implement and participate in daily 5S
- Install new automation equipment
- Assist in supporting the production process
- Implement continuous improvement activities.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipmentÂ
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Rebuild spare components as needed within the maintenance shop
- Ensure spare parts inventories are adequate and updated
- Document parts usage
- Diagnose malfunctioning equipment
- Perform corrective actions to ensure equipment functionality
- Suggest areas to make improvements
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree, Technical Certification or equivalent experience required
- Ideal Maintenance Technician will have minimum 2 years’ experience
- Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Must have experience with production environment or machine shop
- Familiar with machine shop tools
- Willing to take a drug screen and complete a background check
