Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and operation of various mechanical systems
- Repair machine and equipment defects
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
- Identify technologies to improve operational
- Document design narratives & engineering analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 3 plus years of experience in manufacturing operation
- Strong understanding of production/assembly equipment
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
- SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling CAD software.
- Generate machining programs for CNC machining centers
- Perform continuous improvements
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong leader in applying engineering fundamentals, new product development, evaluating data, managing results and recommending design concepts
- 3D CAD systems
- Develops and maintains work instructions to ensure consistent high quality reproducibility. Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
