Purpose & Scope:
Develops and improves manufacturing processes to reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve delivery. Utilizes statistical methods, Lean, and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement, focusing on hydraulic assembly and testing. Leads capital projects and supports product and process changes.
Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Engineer will promote safety and a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Provide technical support across all manufacturing operations.
- Maintain and interpret manufacturing documentation (e.g., routers, RWPs).
- The Manufacturing Engineer will conduct engineering analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and implement new technologies to enhance process capability and control.
- Review engineering designs for manufacturability.
- The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and maintain detailed manufacturing instructions for complex products.
- Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing and validation.
- Manage capital equipment acquisition and implementation.
- Train production personnel on process documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The Manufacturing Engineer must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience from an engineering manufacturing company.
- Must hold a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and in regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace, Defense).
- The Manufacturing Engineer must have proven Lean Six Sigma experience with documented cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong understanding of assembly drawings, GD&T, solid modeling, and test equipment.
- Experience in executing capital investment projects.
- The Manufacturing Engineer must read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and ensure blueprint compliance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen/Must be able to work without a visa sponsorship
