- Utilize standard and advanced techniques to enhance manufacturing systems and processes.
- Address technical and manufacturing problems related to processes, tooling, quality, maintenance, fixtures, and equipment.
- Oversee the Tool Room, update and maintain necessary reports and systems, and direct APQP-related documents and processes.
- Lead and support technicians, interns, and engineers, ensuring adherence to quality policies and continuous improvement.
- Work with engineers, production personnel, maintenance, and management to resolve machining issues and ensure customer requirements are met.
Qualifications
- College degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mastery of Tooling and Fixturing concepts, CNC Set-up, and hands-on programming experience
- Proficiency with programming software such as MasterCam and SolidWorks
- Experience with large capital project implementation and the ability to proactively identify and resolve potential risks.
