Responsibilities:
- The Food Manufacturing Mechanic is responsible for repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Understands FDA, GMP and OSHA in food manufacturing
- Understands 480-volt electrical safety practices, welding practices, hot-work permit requirements
- Works with variable frequency drivers, troubleshoot PLC’s, power distribution systems and wire 3 phase mot
- Provides preventative maintenance and testing to food production equipment
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a Food Manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Mechanic required
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production equipment maintenance
- Understands OSHA, FDA and GMP requirements
- Understands systems with 480-volts and code requirements
