RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Materials Planner must proactively suggest items for discontinuation.
- Responsible for inactivating the unused raw materials in the MRP system.
- Must keep track of discounted materials.
- Proactively phasing in and out materials on BOM’s.
- Must be able to identify the need for pack size changes to minimize write offs in GMP.
- Must track the actual usage versus each BOM.
- Must follow up on product development and evolution within the MRP system.
- Responsible for completing transactional processes within the MRP system.
- Must communicate directly with internal stakeholders regarding entry status, errors, and scheduling conflicts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience within a commercialized manufacturing setting.
- Must have prior experience with item master maintenance in an ERP system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Must understand MRP systems.
