Responsibilities
- Vendor Management and Qualification: You lead and guide vendor review meetings, ensuring vendors meet quality standards.
- Project Direction and Coordination: You manage cross-functional teams, oversee larger scope projects, and set expectations.
- Data-Driven Recommendations: Based on trial data, you draw conclusions and make recommendations within the current project scope.
- Technical Support and Collaboration: You provide onsite trial support, evaluate patents, and collaborate with universities for research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years’ experience in the nonwovens, paper, or pulp industry in one or more of the following functions: Research and Development, Product or Process Development, Converting, or Engineering OR
- Master’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
- Background in Statistics: Understand data distributions (Normal, Binomial, Exponential). Execute Design of Experiments (DOE) using statistical software
- Complex Problem-Solving Skills: Understand fiber composition, structure, and properties. Be aware of chemical processes, interactions, and safety. Familiar with production techniques and disposal methods.
- Knowledge of raw materials, quality control, and cost optimization. Effective manufacturing and distribution techniques
