Responsibilities
- Work closely with the electrolyte R&D manager, production manager, and process/equipment engineering managers to execute corporate goals and objectives
- Lead a group of scientists and engineers, monitoring their day-to-day performance and guiding their professional development.
- Provide technical oversight for projects, fostering technological development within the team to achieve project and department milestones
- Interface with the Cell Technologies team to evaluate ASSB cell performance of electrolytes and enhance product quality.
- Conduct tasks for electrolyte performance improvement and report out data and lessons learned.
Qualifications
- MS or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, or a related discipline
- At-least 5 years of industry experience in the product development & management environment
- Familiarity with techniques such as XRD, TGA, DSC, FT-IR, and Raman
- Handling gloveboxes and working with air-sensitive materials is a plus.
- Familiarity with LiB (Lithium-ion Battery) and ASSB (All-Solid-State Batteries) materials.
