RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design customer review drawing to meet consumer needs and manufacturing demands.
- Design 3D models for assembly in the onsite manufacturing shop
- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications to help define the best product solution for the customer.
- Contribute to product design as a member of the technical team on product development projects.
- Provides technical support for inside sales and outside sales.
- Convert customer needs into viable marketable solutions.
- Follow procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Continuous improvement and any changes needed to management systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have switchboard/switchgear.
- 2-3 years of product development experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- The ideal candidate has experience in one of the following product segments: Power, energy, defense, industrial automation and/or control industries
- Prior experience in Vow Voltage Switchboard design is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Autodesk, SolidWorks, or equivalent software
