Responsibilities
- Conduct microbial analyses on water, environmental samples, raw materials, and finished products.
- Perform quality control checks on microbiological media
- Perform partial characterization tests on microbial isolates
- Execute environmental monitoring tests, including swabbing and facility air monitoring
- Maintain MDM program.
- Perform preservative neutralization verification study
Qualifications
- Requires an associate degree in microbiology or biology.
- Five years’ experience as a Microbiology Lab Specialist, or equivalent
- proficient in microbial analysis and microbiology techniques
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and customer specifications.
- Experience working in an ever changing, fast paced, and diverse production environment.
Salary: $24- $28 per hour (BOE)
