  • Collaborate with teams to ensure a safety culture of zero incidents is achieved.
  • The Occupational Safety Manager will Develop and implement standard practices, processes and programs to support the company’s safety strategy.
  • Drive and support process safety, personnel safety, and stay within OSHA regulatory compliance for the operations of manufacturing and warehousing.
  • Ensure processes, individuals and systems operate in compliance of occupational safety standards that are mandated by state and federal agencies.
  • Build trust and respect while showing relentless passion for the safety of team members.
Salary Range: $25-30/HR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Hygiene.
  • Ideal Occupational Safety Manager will have minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in industrial safety or a combination of degree and experience.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, manufacturing, or storage distribution. Food industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to coach, train and motivate.
  • OSHA 30 Certification 30 hour or equivalent program.
  • NSC Forklift and Lift Truck - Train the Trainer or equivalent preferred
  • Possess knowledge of federal & state regulations including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards, ANSI, Clean Water Act, etc.
  • Knowledge of Data Mgmt and MS Office Software.
  • Must be able to work 6AM-3PM Monday-Friday.
