RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Operational Manager strives for Improvement and will head the improvement of Operations.
- Ensures the tools and necessary skills are available for optimization of performance, and continuous Improvement.
- The Ideal Operational Manager will be responsible for any engineering or technical staff appointed to the projects.
- The ability to improve business financials, compliance and quality and service.
- Responsible for supporting the use of systems like Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, etc.
- Able to manage difficult manufacturing processes; as well as being able to understand and operate new technology developments.
- Provides coaching and technical support to the team.
- Must have strong leadership skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree Required.
- Must have 5 years of experience in Process Operations.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience required.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing environments.
