RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for project proposals, authorization for services, budgets, and reports.
- Must approve engineering work, plans, specifications, and estimates prepared in the department.
- Must participate in presentations to clients and maintaining client contacts on assigned projects
- Must cooperate with administrative personnel on reports, specifications, scheduling, etc.
- Must coordinate with project billing with Department Head and Accounting staff and collect fees from clients.
- Must notify clients of additional work and costs beyond the scope of the contract.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer license
- Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE)
- Prior experience in transportation projects required.
- Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
- Prior project and client management experience
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Valid driver's license - for travel to client sites/meetings
- Ability to attend evening meetings.
- Ability to obtain clearances (for PA school projects and hosting students for shadow events).
