RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operations Supervisor manages day-to-day departmental operating processes by overseeing both the production and maintenance departments
- Must act as a key liaison between related plant departments, including Quality, Technical, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Planning
- Responsible for leading teams to execute short-term production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency
- Must ensure human resources, both full-time and agency, are optimized to support high-demand production operations in a fast-paced GMP make to order manufacturing environment
- Must ensure supervising technical, maintenance, and production personnel while fostering collaboration across departments to meet production goals
- Must be able to require coordinating with teams across multiple shifts to ensure consistent communication and alignment of goals
- Must supervise and direct daily activities of a team of team leads, process leads (line operators), and mechanics
- Must coordinate with cross functional teams across multiple shifts to ensure seamless communication, effective handoffs, and consistent adherence to production goals
- Facilitate collaboration between Quality, Technical, Customer Service, Warehouse and Planning teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of production schedules
- Must write, revise, and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures within the department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience managing GMP high-demand, fast-paced production floor with a focus on operational efficiency and team leadership
- Must have strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, including industrial electrical/mechanical systems associated with high-speed-filling processes
- Must have experience with perfume filling and assembly equipment platforms is a significant plus (e.g., volumetric filling machines, auto-labeling machines, cellophane wrapping machines       Â
