RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximize sales by adjusting inventory.
- Oversee parts tagging to ensure all parts are properly labeled.
- Ensure dealership recovers full credit from the factory.
- Oversee stock order procedures.
- Oversee goal forecasting for parts’ department.
- Hire and train parts department staff.
- Monitor and analyze staff performance.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Establish individual parts inventory levels.
- Balance inventory levels with the goal of maximum turnover.
- Analyze expenses, sales and inventory maintain profit objectives.
- Coordinate efforts with service manager and body shop manager.
- Ensure a rapid turnaround of parts needed.
- Attends meetings as needed.
- Ensure timely processing by directing shipping and receiving.
- Directs counter sales and outside parts.
- Monitor and account for all dealership purchases.
- Ensure professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must parts sales and warehouse experience.Â
- CDK experience required.
- Supervisory experience desired.
- Experience with managing inventory levels.
- Ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.
