RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Plant Engineering Manager must ensure to comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Must partner with engineering operations team ensuring optimal industry standards are met
- Must drive efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the facility
- The Plant Engineering Manager must lead and coach a team of engineers and technicians
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and partner with cross-functional teams, as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance plant efficiency, reliability, safety, reduce costs and minimize downtime
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Plant Engineering Manager must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Black/Green belt preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience from a chemical manufacturing plant set up.
- Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- Must have strong industry knowledge with a focus on quality.
- The Plant Engineering Manager must have excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills.
- Must be proficient in computers.
