Responsibilities:
  • The Plant Manager must oversee and manage plant operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality benchmarks, delivery targets, and cost goals by effectively utilizing staff and equipment.
  • Create, evaluate, and report on daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators for the plant.
  • Must develop and implement production plans to meet or surpass customer delivery expectations.
  • The Plant Manager must foster a culture of strict adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Manage staffing needs and ensure that employees receive proper training.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their performance and contributions.
  • The Plant Manager must handle relationships with local staffing agencies to address workforce requirements.
  • Formulate and execute business strategies aimed at optimizing processes and improving overall performance.
  • Track departmental progress toward goals, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee warehouse organization and inventory management, ensuring accuracy through material cycle counts and precise ERP transactions.
  • Is dedicated to driving lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • The Plant Manager must hold a degree.
  • Must have at least 5 years of proven experience in site management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, process improvement strategies, lean manufacturing principles, and relevant procedures.
  • The Plant Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and their application in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • The Plant Manager must have excellent communication skills.
