RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Portfolio Manager will perform administrative duties and credit analysis to support the credit function.
- Will make recommendations on the denying or granting of loans to the appropriate personnel.
- Evaluate customers financial status by generating financial ratios.
- Review commercial and individual accounts to pinpoint delinquent accounts for collection.
- Maintain loan and credit documents for the department.
- Provide recommendations to lenders if a credit extension should be granted or denied.
- Assist lenders with loan portfolios as needed.
- Work with lenders to resolve credit renewal issues.
Salary Range: $65,000-100,000 (DOE)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ideal Portfolio Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have 5 years of related experience.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of current bank regulations, loan review regulations, operations, procedures.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and a fast learner with new software.
- Must have accounting experience in a banking institution.
- Able to work within strict timelines.
