RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Process Engineer is responsible for rationalizing the need of each project, based on quotes, and cost analysis including the implementation of projects.
- Evaluate the capabilities of manufacturing performance time and make changes to improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop new and improve current processes and align priorities with management collaboration.
- Work to eliminate waste and recommend the best process practices.
- Assist with new development projects and research as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all safety equipment and work areas to prevent any injuries that could occur.
- Collaborate with contractors and consultants for project research and completion.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 (DOE)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred or a combination of school and experience.
- The Process Engineer will have a ISO 9001 Certification.
- Experience and ability to read blueprints including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) system.
- Possess a mechanical aptitude with an understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic power sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to write, read and understand English.
