RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and enhance expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies relevant to company operations.
- Collaborate on creating and managing a prioritized list of improvement opportunities. Set goals, establish timelines, create action plans, and monitor ongoing performance.
- Support the Operations team in ensuring effective manufacturing support and outcomes for new and enhanced products.
- Provide periodic updates to senior management on the status of improvement initiatives, challenges, progress against benchmarks, and targets for operational excellence and financial improvements in manufacturing.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of necessary training for implementing improvement tools and changes resulting from continuous improvement efforts.
- Help establish and maintain performance metrics to monitor and evaluate operational performance, ensuring these metrics measure results and track progress towards desired changes.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data as required for project tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with Continuous Improvement principles and tools in a manufacturing setting is essential.
- The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a CI facilitator or leader.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and experience with Microsoft Outlook.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions and troubleshoot effectively.
- Experience working cross-functionally and multi-functionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and supporting teams and collaborating with personnel at various levels.
