Responsibilities:
- Help improve complex product lines pertaining to design and manufacturing capabilities
- The Product Engineer help improve manufacturing automation while establishing standard operating procedures, improve the customer experience while collaborating with suppliers on new products along with existing ones as well
- Validating custom orders for approval
- Will use parametric modeling to expand 3D product library configurations
- Identifying dimension features accordingly
- Collaborating with suppliers pertaining to parts and assemblies within an ECN process
Requirements:
- 2 years of Product Engineering experience
- Furniture industry experience is a MUST
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D software
- Detailed oriented and being able to establish engineering guidelines
- Highly skilled in AutoCAD
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Experience in reading blueprints and drawings
