RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, or fabricators.
- Must confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Must plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Must Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Responsible to Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
- Must read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
- Responsible for requisition of materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
- Must be able to set up and adjust machines and equipment.
- Must plan and develop new products and production processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of Production Manager experience
- Must have prior experience in furniture and/or cabinet design, retail design or merchandising preferred
- Must have broad understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
